NEED / CHALLENGE
Pepe Raventós crafts Mas del Serral with the aim of returning to the origin of what they once were: a traditional form of agriculture rooted in the utmost respect for the vineyard in order to bring out its full potential— austerity, Xarel·lo, minerality, and 10 years of meticulous production.
INSPIRATION / IDEA
That tradition, deep respect and care that takes place in the vineyard, also needed to be conveyed from the inside of the bottle to its exterior. For this reason, we drew inspiration from the winemaking method itself, carried out entirely by hand, in which, for example, each grape is selected one by one.
SOLUTION
The design solution emerges from this very philosophy: a return to the foundations of graphic design and to handcrafted work performed with exceptional care and devotion. A classically composed label produced in collaboration with l’Autòmatica, a letterpress workshop where printing follows a fully artisanal process; a copper plate engraved and aged through manual wear; and a wax capsule applied by dipping each bottle individually.
